  If there was a zero or 1/2, I would leave that as my review. The female bartender, I think her name is Monica, was so rude to my guest that we brought for dinner. We were regular customers there. We would go to the bar for drinks and dinner but-NO More! My guest did not like her tuna and when she told Monica, Monica argues with her in a very snobbish way, did not offer her anything else, and simply told my guest “that’s what you ordered. I wrote it down”. The food is nothing to argue with a guest over. Usually cold and over cooked like it sat for a while. We will not patronize this place again. Don’t waste your money. They need customer service training. This is the first and only restaurant review I have ever taken the time to write. The one bartender, Gary, was very hospitable. The experience with Monica was so bad we won’t go back.

  I CANNOT UNSEE THIS! I’m from Passaic visiting friends and we were looking forward to good Italian food. We were seated and from my table I could see the heavy set bartender eating food, sucking her fingers and then serving people. Gross! Our food was served cold and the server refused to return it to the kitchen. We didn’t eat a bit of it and based on the what I saw, it was a good thing. The server also refused to remove the charge from our bill!! Won’t be back ever!

  We went here last night for kids eat free. The atmosphere was not bad but everything else was pretty terrible. The waitress was not very knowledgeable about the menu, she also ended up not being very attentive to the point where I had to get up and go to the bar to ask for water for the kids. My sister had to get up and go to the bar to get napkins because she just never came back. For appetizers we had 2 orders of mozzarella sticks and French onion soup. One order was overcooked and all dried out the other order was under cooked all frozen and crumbly. The French onion soup was very bland and also came to the table cold. We had 7 people 4 of which were kids. I ordered a medium well zappi burger with well done bacon. The bacon was not well done and appeared to be microwaved. The manager told me "we dont even have 1 microwave in our kitchen." Although that's possible it's very unlikely. The burger was extremely chewy and greasy. The French fries that came with my burger and my daughters chicken nuggets were so burnt and soaked in grease. My guess is they need to change their fryer oil. You could taste and smell it in the fries! We sent them back for some new orders. The new fries came out and again they were not fresh and horribly greasy. My father had the prime rib special for 15.99. When the meat came out it was overwhelmingly rubbery and chewy. He couldnt eat more than half of it. He decided to take it home for the dog. The manager told us they sold 30 today and we are the only ones who had an issue. She then stated maybe it's not the food maybe it's you! She was extremely rude, dissmive and nasty. Telling us again we are the only unhappy people so maybe its not us, its you. My sister had the penne vodka, it was $18. Let me tell you she had about 5 bites. It was pretty terrible. Tasted like it was straight out of a Walmart jar! So that's 3 adult meals that are very very unsatisfactory. I informed the waitress and said I'm sorry and walked off. So the bill comes out. Keep in mind it was supposed to be kids eat free with an adult purchase. Nowhere on their Facebook post, website or menu does it say " with an adult ENTREE." Apparently a $12 burger and $15.99 prime rib dont count as an entree. We were never informed of this detail. I went back and double checked all places to see If they specified the kid eat free deal, they did not! The manager refused to remove the kids meals. 100% will never ever go back here! Food was disgusting and service was horrible. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Hey rivolis, you should probably teach you're manager some respect and customer service.
